Principal Software Engineer (Full-stack) / Head of Software

Mission / Responsibility:
- Build up and lead Development infrastructure from the ground up and have massive impact from Day One
- Help turn machine learning prototypes into medical products that will be deployed to thousands of hospitals world-wide
- Play a key role in developing intelligent Big Data infrastructure that will handle thousands of Terabytes of medical data

Must-have Skills:
- Excellence in modern mathematical algorithm implementation (C++, or similar) with a focus on code quality.
- Proven ability to design software architectures from the ground up.
- Proven ability to establish the entire product development environment from scratch (choosing tools and technologies).
- Experience in Cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure ..)
- The flexibility to feel at home in a technology start-up with a small team of scientists, analysts and testers

Should-have Skills:
- Strong degree in a quantitative discipline (Physics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering).
- Leadership: Responsibility for the whole software department, and full freedom in determining the direction it takes.
- Familiarity with deep learning (e.g. TensorFlow, CNTK, Caffe, Theano), GP-GPU (e.g. CUDA) and/or big data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
- Full-stack all-rounder: from algorithms to cloud back-end to front-end/reporting
