We are seeking a talented PHP senior web developer to
work with our development team to help us extend our core platform. This
individual will be working to add functionality to our existing
platform, and work with our product team to extend the platform to
incorporate new features. Ideal candidates will have a can-do attitude,
passion for technology, extensive PHP/MySQL development experience, and
will be able to get up to speed quickly.
Required Skills
- PHP - Candidate should be a top-notch PHP developer, familiar with the latest features in PHP.
- PHP frameworks, Laravel preferred.
- MySQL - Modern database development expertise, words like 'trigger' and 'view' should be part of your vocabulary.
- jQuery/XHTML/CSS/SASS/Javascript/AJAX - Expert level Javascript/XHTML/CSS development will be necessary.
- Object
Oriented Development / CS Background - Ideal candidates should
understand object oriented development, and apply OO concepts to
everything they do. Formal CS background or experience preferred.
- Self-Starter - Looking for candidates who can jump in quickly without a lot of direction.
- Native Spanish, Fluent English.
Bonus Skills
- Amazon AWS cloud practitioning.
- RESTful services development.
- Web Services - Experience building modern web services.
- Experience with Amazon Aurora DB.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.
- AngularJs, NodeJs.
- Scrum framework.
Experience
This is a senior position; we're looking for somebody who has at least 5+ years of experience.
