We are looking for a Network Engineer to be part of
the eDreams OdigeO Global IT Operations Network team, our team design,
install and manages the production and corporate network infrastructure,
our high availability network serves daily more than 25 Million of
online searches for all our brands (eDreams, Govoyages, Opodo,
Travellink and Liligo) and gives service to 2000 corporate users around
the world accomplishing the higher security standards (PCI DSS Level 1
compliant).
Network Engineer to help build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our
rapidly expanding infrastructure. You will be part of a talented team
of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering
mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of
availability, performance and security.
Main responsibilities (included but not limited to):
- Install, configure, test and maintain the network platform, devices and management tools.
- Ensure the highest levels of infrastructure availability.
- Solve incidents, problems and follow network changes.
- Keep up to date the security, configuration and monitoring of the devices.
- Define and design network solutions, developing ideas for the implementation.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
- Create/Update technical documentation.
- Participate in an on-call rotation.
Desirable skills:
- Strong experience with data center network architectures, network engineering and operations.
- Experience with Core routing, switching and load balancing at scale.
- Ability to work within a team and work towards corporate goals.
- Constant learning capacity and proactive in problem resolution.
- Experience working in critical and high traffic web environments.
- Experience in Incident, problem and change correlation.
- Knowledge with Automation, Git, Linux, systems administration.
- Cloud experience will be appreciated, (e.g., AWS, GCP).
