With the massive surge of electronic travel documents and national eID cards, Thales Digital & Security global business unit is supporting border agencies, government authorities and airports to exploit technology convergence to gain consistent, comprehensive border, visa management and document verification worldwide that will:
- Deliver seamless travel with border control applications
- Offer convenience for travelers for fast and secure border crossing
- Improve border intelligence for detection and prevention, including some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics, machine learning, or micro services.
A week in the life of a .NET C# Developer
- You will be responsible for the design, implementation, security and deployment of a new product.
- You will be also integrating quality and matching algorithms included in Biometric SDK provided by both Thales DIS and Third Parties.
- You will participle with the team on the analysis of the problem space, solution exploration, estimate the workload and contribute to the requirements specification.
- You will collaborate in the technical documentation related to these activities.
- You will be a team player inside one of our agile teams.
To succeed in this job, you must have at least 3 years of experience in software development and the following technical skills:
- Experience in .NET, .NET Framework or .NET Core runtimes
- Proficiency in C#
- Experience with Visual Studio
- Experience in Unit Testing Frameworks
- Ability to read and write technical documentation and source code in English
Any of the following will be valued:
- Integration of Hardware SDKs with C# interfaces
- Experience with image, video, camera or biometrics development
- RESTful APIs
- Experience in a second programming language or JS framework: Java, Python, Angular, Vue, etc.
- Git, Jenkins CI pipelines
- Ansible, Docker, Kafka
