international money transfer. That means flipping a gazillion dollar
industry on its head using only real exchange rates and tiny

Are you up to building a modern international financial institution
from the ground up, but better than any of the existing global banks? We
are looking for an Android Full Stack Developer to join our awesome
team. As a Mobile Full Stack Developer you will have solid experience
with the full stack of mobile technologies, from the native development
through to the back end API work (either in the same role or throughout
your career). You will be hands on within the technology and working
towards making our product the best that it can be by solving the
challenges that we face. However our flat organisational structure means
you'll be someone who is unconcerned with titles and hierarchy. What
really excites you is problem solving and delivering innovative
technology and products that create happy customers.
Must haves:
- Passionate about technology as a lever to grow our business and improve the user experience
- Experience using a back-end MVC Framework in a dynamic language, Java
- Experience of working with or integrating with native Android
- Experience working with or developer RestAPI's.
- Experience of Test Driven Development
- Possess empathy for the user and be able to build great code that drives fantastic user experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex and technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience working in a high growth start-up
Nice to haves:
- Be customer of TransferWise
- Experience with front-end frameworks and preprocessors e.g. jQuery, LESS, AngularJS
- Understanding of scrum and agile development
