Linux system administrator/Data Base Analyst, Amsterdam en Amsterdam

Responsibilities:

• Developing and promoting standards and procedures (e.g., operating or security procedures);
• Conducting system audits for compliance with established standards, policies, configuration guidelines, and procedures;
• Working with other teams to identify and troubleshoot operational and performance related issues;
• Analyzing databases and providing data as requested for example by product operations and business development;
• Planning and executing the installation and configuration of server operating environments within the datacenter;
• Deploying and operating our products with the IT team and other departments;
• Providing hands on technical support related to the overall health and maintenance of the operating environments in support of 24/7 operations;
• Providing 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements:

• Senior level experience in Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, gentoo);
• Experience in Microsoft Server administration;
• Working knowledge of Active Directory;
• Database administration experiance (MySQL, PostgreSQL);
• Experience with server backup and restore processes;
• Good knowledge of network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LDAP & NFS;
• Good skills in understanding firewalls and security.
