Your Role
Reporting to the Zurich-based CTO, you will build, shape and
manage your own team of engineers working with state-of-the art
technology in our Polish offices.
- Influence the overall vision and contribute to the design and
implementation of technology solutions across different projects in
collaboration with the CTO
- Work closely with the Product team to understand business needs and translate them into technical design
- Hire and develop a team of passionate developers in a high energy, fast paced and outcome-oriented environment.
- Implement and uphold a framework for engineering best practices, including code reviews & testing
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in the field of Information
Technology including positions in development, systems administration,
and architecture.
- Experience in a team lead and/or managerial position
- Strong understanding of microservice architecture/design and data modeling techniques
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Professional experience with one or more programming languages: Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript and/or Go.
- Familiarity and experience working with agile techniques (SCRUM, Kanban)
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Willingness and ability to spend some time at our Zurich HQ
- EU passport (or other permit that allows you to travel to Switzerland)
