Funded start-up who just launched the first sports & leisure marketplace in France (www.novatopo.com,
beta version) is looking for a Lead Developer. The lead dev has full
responsibility for all IT matters (idea generation, developments, fixes,
coordination) and works hand-in-hand with the business team, the CTO
and manages other developers. Amazing opportunity if you are interesting

We look for 3 qualities :
Execution : You’re a reliable walking swiss army who gets it done
Proactive creativity : You identify what we need and your ideas and
suggestions help us continuously improve our platform using today’s
technology, apps automation and integration (github, slack, jira,
zapier…)
Project management : You’re comfortable juggling between, FE, BE, infra or business topics and managing other developers
Context : We have a CTO based in Paris with great skills but limited
availability (part-time) and developers working remotely (Vietnam,
India, Turkey, Pakistan). Therefore the role entails leading all
developments and filling the CTO’s role when he is unavailable. Our goal
is to build a team operating mainly from Paris . This is why we hire
you and you will help us build that team.
Start date : NOW
Format : CDI or CDD (equity possible depending on profile and experience)
Technical skills required : Full stack developer (node.js, AngularJs
[1.x, 2.x] HTML/CSS, Less/Sass, Zurb Foundation, MongoDB, REST API,
Solr, AWS infrastructure [IaaS], google cloud web services,
micro-services architecture, GitHub, Jira)
General Responsibilities :
Be the “go-to” person for all IT-related topics or issues
Manage remote developers and and work with part-time CTO
Manage Backend APIs and FE
Lead GitHub and Jira
Site management (investigate, fix, test, deploy)
Infra (AWS, google cloud, GoDaddy)
Immediate needs :
Harden/improve existing code quality
Write clean directives for unstable components (We use Zurb Foundation, “not Bootstrap”)
Improve loading speed
Kick-off wave of development for new features
Some info regarding our stack :
BE developed using the Microservices framework. This consists to
many API’s communicating together through a Queue (async calls) or API
Gateway (synchronous calls)
We are using Redis as InMemory DB, Cache and Queue (RSMQ)
Our Backend is developed with NodeJS (compatible with NodeJs 6.x)
The frontend is built using AngularJS 1.x, Foundation Sites 6.2
The build is performed using Grunt on the FE and Angular Cli on our Back-Office app
