We are looking for a Junior Android developer
that can build and maintain the Plugins (libraries) we provide for
tracking premium video streaming applications in Android SDK, under the
mentoring and supervision of our senior developers.
You will be
part of the Plugins department; a unit of two developers that have the
mission to provide high-quality and easy-to-integrate plugins for a
wide range of video players. You’ll work along the integration
specialists to achieve this goal. Discover more about how our customers

This
is going to be an interesting opportunity if you enjoy creating
software for Android and want to learn how to develop for iOs with
Objective-C (and Swift) and for other video players using JavaScript.
Communication
skills (in English) will be required as our customers -their
developers- will sometimes request your assistance during integrations.
Main Responsibilities:
- Build compelling plugins for Android devices using Java (and Kotlin)
- Integrating
with third party technologies in digital video ecosystem. It will
require from coordinating with customers and offering assistance to its
developers during the integration process.
- Review crash logs and handled exception reports to harden existing application features.
- Setup unit tests for new and existing code. Run automated tests using tools provided in Android Studio.
- Document the software developed.
Requirements
> 1 year of software development experience in Java.
> Have developed small projects (personal or professional projects) in Android.
> Written and spoken English (higher intermediate level or above).
The following will be considered as a plus:
> CI / CD knowledge (Travis, Jenkins, Pipelines)
> Development using Git version control
> Interest in learning Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift and JavaScript.
