You will be working on building our innovative social security network alarm webapp written in React and NodeJS. The webapp guides the users in what to do to help and to report what they see. There's also chat functionality for the users to be able to chat directly to each other. Technology used in the NodeJS side:
socket.io, api's, messaging queue's to talk with the webapp client and the downstream backend.
You will also be working on building the website written in React and NodeJS. The website is the channel where Homies is explained and sold to our customers. Due to the nature of our B2B2C proposition there are lots of offers for different customers based on their address. So one of the main goals of the website is that every customer can find their personal offer. You will also be working with our marketeers to keep improving the website based on data insights.
Requirements:
3+ years of production JavaScript backend and frontend software development
Specialized in web development (HTML, CSS, Javascript)
Integrating front-end with RESTful API's
Authentication and authorisation mechanisms like OAuth, OpenID Connect and JWT
AB testing, code versioning, QA tools and processes and preferably modern CI/CD pipelines
You know: Babel, JavaScript/ES8+, Node.js, React.js, Webpack, Async/Await, Flux state management, CSS in JS,
Socket.io, SSR, OAuth 2, Git, Linux/CLI
Ability to write unit and integration tests (Jest)
Basic devops skills
You also have great communication skills, you like to take the lead and are a great teamplayer. When you see possibilities to improve, you do but the team goal stay priority number 1. IoT interests you and off course we like it if you have affinity with social alarming. You know everything about Agile/Scrum.
