Java Software Developer en Barcelona

DaoPay is a licensed payment service provider offering tailor-made solutions for cashless payments. We operate globally and process payment transactions on the internet via credit card, mobile, e-wallets, blockchain payments, bank transfers and more. Clients use our services for online gaming, social media sites, internet gambling and much more. We are now looking for an experienced backend Software Developer in Java to join our successful development team.

As the Software Developer for DaoPay, you will…

• Design, implement, test and support backend features
• Integrate new payment providers by implementing their APIs
• Collaborate with the team in building solutions for new customer requirements

Your qualifications should include…

• Several years of experience in a professional software development work environment
• Excellent understanding of OOP concepts and principles and how to apply them in JAVA
• Experience with implementing services based on RESTful APIs
• Experience with:

o Spring, Hibernate, Relational Databases (PostgreSQL), Maven/Ant + Ivy

o Testing: JUnit / TestNG, Mockito

• Affinity for Agile Development Methodologies (SCRUM)
• Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, PHP [asset, but not mandatory]
• A strong sense of responsibility and proactive attitude
• Good English skills
