IT Security Engineer en Madrid

Eurovision Services is looking for IT Security Engineers to join the international software engineering team at our technology hub in Madrid, Spain.

ABOUT THE TECHNOLOGY HUB

The Eurovision Services technology hub in Madrid is responsible for delivering media and broadcast solutions using the most advanced software engineering techniques. As part of the technology team, you will be working with top international engineers specialized in media and see your developments implemented in Tier 1 global sports and news content.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION

In this role as IT Security Engineer, you will

• Work in close collaboration with Information Security Management on security enhancement, developing standards, procedures and best practices.
• Helps to plan and carries out an organization’s information security strategy in collaboration with the Information Security Management
• Ensure security best practices are applied and recommends security enhancements to ISM and management as needed.
• In collaboration with ISM, he/she proposes strategies to respond to and recover from a security breach.
• Act as central point of contact for any IT Security concerns and liaise with dedicated teams in an efficient collaboration.

• Provide support and response to security events and incidents.
• Improve methods and tools for cyber incident analysis, detection & response.
• Contribute to the implementation of a continuous threat and incident monitoring program.
• Support technical cyber risk assessments in various operational environments (IT, broadcast, digital services), including threat modelling, architecture and design reviews, vulnerability assessments, application security testing and penetration testing.
• Follow, assess and advise on new and emerging cyber threats.
• Managing internal phishing campaigns and mail security.
• Schedule, execute and analyse vulnerability scanning, and provide compliance and patching reporting.
• Participate in technical security remediation/mitigation planning.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful candidate must have:

• At least years’ experience in a similar or related position.

• Must have a valid security professional certification (such as GIAC, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, etc.)

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service and business integrity.

• Deep understanding of common network protocols (DNS, HTTP, SMTP, FTP).
• Deep understanding of SMTP, SSL/TLS and PKI.
• Deep understanding of Windows Servers and Workstations, Linux Servers (RHEL / Debian) environments.
• Experience in access management (IAM NetIQ, PAM Wallix, etc.).
• Experience in On prem and Azure AD, office 365

• Experience in Antivirus XDR, sandboxes, and malware analysis
• Experience in vulnerability scanning,
• Strong knowledge of common IT security vulnerabilities and exploitation technique
• Knowledge of scripting (Bash, Perl, Python/PowerShell, batch).
• Knowledge of the AWS / Azure cloud environment and SSO / SAML
• Knowledge of CISCO routing/switching, Check Point or Palo Alto firewalls.
