itembase is seeking a talented and experienced DevOp or IT-Operations Lead (/fm).
About itembase.com
itembase is automatically keeping track of your receipts, purchases,
shipments, anything you buy online for hundreds of thousands of users
managing over 100 million transactions per year. We build this using our
own ecommerce service platform which is a stand-alone product in its
own right called dataconnect.io.
Your role at itembase
With your passion to design, implement and automate product delivery
and IT-Operations you let our three product teams focus on building and
releasing new software. You are keen about technology, try out new
things but value quality and performance over novelty. You can
communicate well with other stakeholders. You are able to set timelines
for your projects, manage expectations and able to deliver.
We build our software with consul, docker, jenkins and run Ubuntu
VMs in our managed data center using cloudstack. Your first achievement
will be to complete our shift to CD.
We need your experience with
Linux,
Delivering continuously using docker, consul, and jenkins,
Experience in building an IT-Operations department
web-application stacks like LAMP, MEAN, memcached, Redis, Cassandra, Layer 4 and Layer 7 LBs, Nginx, Go, Java, Django, Python
Nagios, Zabbix, ELK Stack or similar monitoring tools,
bash or python scripting.
