transportation. The first fully-integrated global, neutral, booking
platform for regulated Taxis and PHVs. We are funded by RCI Bank and
Services, the financial services provider for Groupe Renault and Nissan
Group.
The role:
Karhoo is seeking a
Senior Front End Developer to collaborate with product, design, and
engineering to build innovative, application dashboards used by our
customers and partners.
This will be the
first web front end hire and as such will define the shape of the front
end work going forward, there will also be a requirement to own future
hires in the team.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide suggestions on how to solve issues in a cleaner, smarter, simpler or more flexible way based on your experience

Collaborate with talented backend engineers, and product managers to build, ship, and improve the desktop Karhoo offering.

This role is a hands on front end developer role with leadership potential.

Define frameworks and methodologies which will define the Karhoo web
presence and be able to discuss the relevance over other technologies.

Write clear, concise, and tested client-side web application code.

Participate in a culture that values structured code reviews as well as deploying frequently.

Have a willingness to experiment, evaluate, and introduce other team members to new frameworks, technology, and workflows.

Possess a strong understanding of JavaScript outside of libraries or
frameworks, i.e. the language itself, not just how to use a specific
framework.

Have an interest building data visualizations, measuring and
improving front-end performance, and gathering and reporting on
user-centric metrics.

6+ years of solid related experience
