Front-End Developer en Paris

With over 250 million unique visitors and 3 billion videos viewed worldwide per month, Dailymotion is one of the leading sites for sharing videos. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Front End Developer to join our User Product Tribe.

Job description

Integrated within the User Product Tribe you will work on the site’s new functionalities cross devices with a mobile-first approach. You will have the opportunity to develop features used by hundreds of millions of users every day. You will push code daily on a platform receiving more than 40 million page views per day.

- Develop new functionalities for desktop, tablets and mobile web
- Contribute to the user experience cross devices
- Optimize the current codebase and maintain it
- Propose new evolutions for our framework
- Enforce best practices (tests, coding guidelines, continuous deployment, …)

Job Requirements

- Passion for web development and coding in general
- Self-interest to be always up-to-date on the latest web, browsers and HTML5 news/technologies
- Minimum 2 years of experience at a similar job (huge traffic website)
- Good knowledge of native JavaScript
- Production knowledge of React and the Flux application architecture (Redux knowledge is a plus)
- SCSS
- NPM, Webpack
- Responsive design, mobile first approach
- Motivated, proactive
- Team player
- Git knowledge
- Github account with side projects is a plus
- Knowledge of cutting edge CSS technologies is a plus (postCSS, cssnext…)
- Knowledge of PHP, Twig is a plus
- Excellent Communication skills in English
