As part of the Global IT DevOps team for Roche Diabetes Care, as IT ERP Financial Planning DevOps Lead you will report to the ERP IT DevOps Manager. In this DevOps Lead role, you will be accountable for managing the end to end IT developments as well as IT operations.

You work very closely with the IT Business Relationship leads (BRM) and external service providers, providing guidance and designing the solutions to best fix the business needs and accomplish the IT goals in terms of agility, scalability and cost.

You are the single point of contact between BRMs and DevOps service providers. You lead the technical design reviews and E2E solution delivery.

Job purpose

•Responsible for coordination of Development and Operations duties within the Enterprise Application space, ensuring that the externally sourced Development and Operations services are aligned with business needs and are delivered in accordance with customer SLA to RDC IT standards and in line with industry best practice

•Assumes responsibility for lifecycle management, continual improvements and the management of changes

•Managing the externally sourced Technical and Service Delivery Leads, and the relationship with the different vendors and partners supporting the solutions

•“Hands-on” functional role to perform solution/application design review, effort and timeline estimations review in order to meet, customer and technological requirements at a global level in the area of ERP Finance, Controlling and Financial Planning areas.

•Translate complex business requirements into solutions and new or amended business processes that meet business, customer and technical requirements, while observing defined financial requirements.

Key Accountabilities
•Responsible for developing/deploying integrated solutions across ERP SAP Financial Planning (SAP BPC, BODS, FIM) areas.

•Supports Business Relationship Managers in developing business cases and the solution effort and timeline assessment of Change Requests

•Explains benefit and use of new/upgraded technology capabilities

•Defines / reviews functional and technical solutions to Change Requests and create reviews a range of documentation including Functional Specifications, Test Plans and other compliance related documentation specific to the pharma industry

•Manages communication on technology change and plans end-user and business involvement in events (training, testing)

•Manages the Development and Operations of respective scope

•Manages IT processes and externally sourced teams in delivering the Development and Operations

•Responsible for overseeing the development team, ensuring the coordination of this team in overall planning activities.

Key Skills/experience
•Minimum 5+ years’ detailed “hands-on” functional and technical experience with SAP Financial Planning (SAP BPC, BODS, FIM, MS Excel macros) areas within complex IT landscape including working in multiple enterprise scale projects requiring IT/consulting expertise

•Track record of managing largely outsourced IT Development and Operations in global organizations

•Proven experience managing global and distributed teams, offshore suppliers

•Familiarity with project management methodologies such as change management, security assessments, risk management and quality management

•Proven analytical skills with ability to drive efficient design concepts and deliver against milestones

•ITIL and service management experience and knowledge is a plus

•High proficiency of English language is required, other languages are a plus

•Strong communication and influencing skills

•Ability to work across groups managing individuals both directly and indirectly to achieve a common goal

•Travel requirement minimum of 25% of the  time
