What will you be doing?
With a passion for design, travelling and exploration, we help hosts in London, Barcelona, Lisbon, Paris and Rome create liveable and exciting homes that guests from all around the world love and appreciate. We're looking for a design project manager with at least 2/3 years of experience in a project management position or similar role.
This is a demanding position, and one for the right person to gain great responsibility within our team from the very beginning. Your duties will include:
- As part of the design cross-design team, you will plan and manage upcoming and ongoing projects alongside the Design & Creative Director and will ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within the scope and within budget.
- Develop and maintain accurate budgets and forecasts across projects and for the design function and be responsible for tracking all design job-related costs and cross-team expenses (team software subscriptions, etc.)
- Have to place and follow-up orders, manage payments, monitor deliveries & collect invoices.
- Maintain an effective relationship with design partners (freelancers, producers, etc) and third parties (printers, software companies, etc). and support other related duties.
What can you bring?
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar field. Additional qualification or knowledge in design field or design tools (Adobe Suite) will be a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Excel, spreadsheet and databases (Airtable, etc). Maths & Analytical skills and mindset (Develop budgets, spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs).
- English and Spanish at least - other languages will be more than welcome.
- Positive thinker, self-motivated, flexible and cope well under pressure.
- Good communicator with multiple stakeholders. You must have great attention to detail, be responsible and highly organised, feel comfortable working with an enthusiastic team and in the design environment.
