Our main mission is to power PayFit’s growth by providing a trusted platform (reliable and efficient) allowing event-sourcing thanks to an event-store and a data bus, the future standard of PayFit.
This involves building core tools used throughout the whole engineering organization and collaborating closely with teams to take the best out of the platform.
💡 The team's top priority is focused on enabling the different teams of payfit to consume this platform in self-service so that they can focus on the business aspects.
💡 The team is also responsible for providing services that increase security, reliability, data ownership, ease of use, scalability, and many other aspects of data usage at Payfit.

What will be your role?
Get onboard of the PayFit rocket by joining our Storage Hub team as a Database Reliability Engineer.
Your mission will be to contribute to build this platform and scale our technical vision up while always bringing more value to our product.
You will be responsible for:
• Making technical and functional choices.
• Help us build a stable, scalable, easy-to-use platform for our developers. Ensuring data security, governance and reliability,
• Accompany the future users of this platform in order to guarantee maximum ease of use, to help them implement their project on it and to pass on the message of data know-how.
• Be the referent of the Storage-Hub infrastructure and its deployment on AWS after the team and external requesters
• Be in constant contact with the future users of this platform to ensure maximum ease of use, and you will have an interest in Architecture, be familiar with Event-Sourcing and understand the capabilities, advantages and disadvantages of this type of architecture.

• You have a solid understanding of Kubernetes and AWS (SAM, Cloudformation, …) or want to learn more about it.
• You love automating infrastructure and workloads deployments.
• You enjoy sharing and collaborating with other teams to promote best practices and build reliable and resilient services.
We would be even more impressed if you have:
• You are experienced designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems
• You have a systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive
• You master kafka in an event-sourcing context (distributed PubSub messaging, Replay, KSQL, ...)
