We are looking for an exceptional evangelist to join our team, where you will help create example analyses and content, and grow Datapane's user-base by engaging with the data science community.
Datapane helps data analysts share analyses as interactive apps, so we are looking specifically for someone with a technical data background who wants to be more focused on outreach and knowledge sharing. Some experience writing code for data analysis is a pre-cursor, and you should be familiar with the data science toolset, such as Jupyter and pandas. Previous experience of data science blogging would be a great indicator of fit.
The work will vary day to day, but will include elements of:
- Planning and developing new data science content, such as writing a best of class analysis for a particular use-case on the platform.
- Engaging with data analytics and BI communities by speaking to people about use-cases, sharing content, and getting feedback.
- Identifying important niches and use-cases, and hiring and managing contractors to help build relevant content for them.
You should like the idea of interacting with customers and the community, planning and writing content, attending and hosting meetups / talks. You'll be working and liaising with a talented team of domain experts, data scientists, and backend engineers, and will have extensive scope to build the outbound messaging for the company and steer the commercial team in the future.
