Data Analyst (Intern or Apprentice) en Paris

VizEat is Europe's largest food experiences platform in Europe. After BlablaCar and Airbnb, we are revolutionizing the 3rd pillar of the tourism economy : Food!

VizEat connects travellers with local hosts around authentic culinary experiences – dinners, cooking classes, food tours, rooftop parties - at their home. It is a unique way to exchange with people from all around the world and todiscover new cultures around food.

Founded in 2014 in France by a former venture capitalist and a business school graduate, VizEat has grown very quickly. Today, VizEat has 120,000 members in 110 countries and its website/apps are now available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German.

In November 2015, we organized with the Airbnb Open Conference the world biggest social dining event, with 1,200 guests from 90 countries sharing a dinner in 150 Parisian homes.  And our new fundraising has just been announced by TechCrunch: https://techcrunch.com/2016/09/06/vizeat/

What you will directly contribute to:

• Building and delivering reports to provide actionable insights to the different teams (Community, Marketing, Tech, Product)

• Identifying product feature improvements and measuring their success

• Implementing, improving and refining product KPIs

• Occasionally helping on other projects not directly related to data to help the company grow

• Any project you like, basically: if you have an idea, it’s up to you to see it through and implement it!

What you will need to be successful

• You have an excellent command of Excel and SQL

• You are fluent in English

• You care about impact and applying data-driven insights to drive business decisions

• You have both a strong attention to detail and the ability to step back to see the bigger picture

• You believe in automation: any process that can be made faster you want to make faster

• You can synthesize and communicate data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• You’re independent and can multi task: taking on additional projects out of your comfort zone to help the other teams doesn’t scare you

• You like working in a growing start-up fast-paced environment
