kitten. As our teams grow and the amount of work increases, we need to
keep up our pace. Or better yet: to increase our pace. Are you up for

As our CTO you will be helping
Ali out. First you will dive in our code base and code along with the
teams. Simultaneously you will help out and understand deploys and other
DevOpsy things. In a later stage you, together with Ali, will define
and execute our techvision. Your presence is engaging and enthusing for
our great young coders & DevOps's. Guiding them to their next level
is something you've learned to do through your extensive experience.
So
who are you? You understand modern coding paradigms like no other and
see the beauty behind our code structure. Coding since you were a kid,
you bring at least two decades of OOP to the table. Moreover you have
experience with DevOps affairs. BGP, Puppet, Ansible, FreeBSD (etc.)
have no secrets for you.
You will join a team of more than 70
bunqers (10 nationalities and counting!) that have one thing in common:
we love what we do. Waking up with brilliant ideas and going to bed
knowing that you’ve realised them. That’s working at bunq.
What we like to see:
- At least 20+ years of experience with OOP
- Experience with: BGP, Puppet, Ansible, FreeBSD etc.
- Up for a 70/30 role, where you will be coding 30% of your time and help your teams move forward the rest of the time
- Flexible in thinking and doing
- Into startups and their culture
- Strong believer in leading by example
