We are seeking an Content Targeting and Recommendations Analyst with a knack for leveraging data to enhance content personalization and recommendation algorithms. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on understanding user preferences and behaviours to deliver highly targeted content that boosts engagement and user satisfaction. You will play a pivotal role in refining our content and building our recommendation engine to ensure our users receive relevant, engaging content that resonates with their interests.
Responsibilities
- Analyse user and interaction data to identify preferences and trends that inform content optimisation and targeting strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers to design and implement A/B tests to evaluate different content targeting strategies and recommendation algorithms, using results to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other data scientists and engineers to refine and enhance content recommendation approaches, ensuring they are aligned with user interests and behaviours.
- Provide recommendations to our content team on content optimization and build strategies based on data analysis.
- Create reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product and content performance.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in content personalization, recommendation systems, and data analytics to keep our strategies cutting-edge.
- Own analysis projects E2E. Define business problems, translate into data approaches for yourself and more junior members of the team, and deliver insight and tools that will drive change.
Desired experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a similar role, focusing on product or content optimization and data analysis in a fast growth business.
- You have deep expertise in data focussed tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and techniques, and have a history of delivering impactful projects form from start to finish.
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and predictive modelling techniques related to content recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and persuasive manner.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
- You’re a bright, high calibre candidate who enjoys working in a warm, fast-paced and collaborative environment.
English is a must. We are a multicultural team, and we are providing a service in English so, we don't care about certificates, but we expect you to be able to communicate fluently.
You should feel equally comfortable communicating in long-form writing. We have become a fully remote company so, we believe that being articulate in both spoken and written long-form asynchronous communication is key to working efficiently together.
Experience working closely with non-technical stakeholders to refine requirements and bring them to life is a must.
