experienced Computer Vision and/or Deep Learning engineer who is capable
of diving deep into hard technical problems and coming up with
insightful solutions that enable successful products? Are you unafraid
of tackling a mind-bending challenge that really will transform the
entire Retail industry and how we shop? Would you love to get access to
large datasets with millions of images to build large-scale machine
learning systems? Are you a finisher who can deliver robust,
production-quality code that solves complex, real-world problems in ways
that delight customers?

Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Improve multi-object detection in dense scenes: detect up to 100 objects in one image
- Improve
our consumer goods fine grained state-of-the-art visual recognition
model.The challenge is to discriminate over 100,000 consumer goods in
various environments.
- Contribute to Qopius’s high level graph oriented model library
- Publish scientific articles or patents
- Work closely with software engineering teams to drive scalable, real-time implementations
Your long-term responsibilities will be to:
Build a rich feature knowledge of each consumer good, brand and category of products
Design predictive models based on packaging and position on shelf of products
You have:
- MS in computer science or related fields
- Broad
experience in state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning
modeling (up-to-date knowledge of computer vision literature)
- Advanced skills in Python, scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow (or Caffe), Pandas, SQL
- Ability to mix mathematical modeling and software development
Nice to have:
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Proven
track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing
the state of the art (participated in Kaggles or hackathon challenges)

Location:
Paris 1er arrondissement, at the heart of Europe’s new Artificial
Intelligence hub. Based out of a coworking space surrounded by other
fellow tech startups.
