We’re an early stage food-tech startup, offering a variety of organic
and locally-sourced food, reducing intermediaries in the food supply
industry between producers and buyers. Introducing price transparency,
reducing barriers to trade, generating trust and facilitating logistics
in order to make organic food affordable.
We’re looking for a CMO
to lead the growth, engagement and retention of our users in an early
stage startup. We are looking for a highly-motivated, independent and
creative individual who has a track record of growing users on a small
budget.
You will be empowered to do things like:
- Define
and manage comprehensive go-to-market strategy and plan including
positioning, launch strategy, PR, sales and partner materials.

Help find product/market fit, lead customer discovery process to find
market, message, and value proposition that resonates with the target
audience
- Generate initial demand, create strategic messaging,
figure out value messaging that speaks to potential customers, manage
customer life-cycle supporting growth and user retention initiatives to
maximize the life-time value of our users.
- Use data to drive decision-making and evaluate performance.
- Help to prepare applications to present the company to accelerators programs and if accepted attend to the program.

What we're looking for:
- Passionate about the mission of the company.
- BA/BS degree required, MBA a plus.

4+ years of digital marketing experience delivering highly successful
growth, user acquisition, and engagement strategies, with a focus on
user acquisition and retention.
- Customer-oriented approach you
understand how to conduct research on users and figure out their
priorities. You're not afraid to seek out and talk directly to users
- Experience in creating and executing growth marketing campaigns across multiple channels
- Exquisite communication and interpersonal skills
- Up to speed with current and online marketing techniques and best practices
- You’re a self starter and will pull up your sleeves to get things done.

Data-driven: You know how to leverage data to make decisions and drive
growth. You have experience running rigorous multivariate testing.
