Role description
We're looking for a business developer who has experience with selling software, SaaS or other software technology services, ideally in a high-growth environment. You will be managing one or more Business Development Representatives who are tasked to identify and nurture opportunities. Your main objective is to pursue, prioritize and close business opportunities. You will report to the VP of Sales. You're expected to critically assess sales processes with the objective to improve the productivity of the business development team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a consistent and predictable sales pipeline
- Train and manage Business Development Representatives
- Report on business development activities
- Become on expert on Veylinx's solutions and the competitive landscape
- Identify and build strategic relationships
Profile
- At least two years professional experience, preferably selling SaaS or consultancy
- Proven sales track record
- Preferably experience with selling to Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 Organizations
- Comfortable presenting persuasively in front of an audience
- Ability to quickly learn online sales tools
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language
- Bachelor's degree or higher strongly preferred
