As a Business Data Analyst you will be working closely
with the Billing Department which will give you an excellent opportunity
to gain a deep insight into the high-tech online payments processing.
You will learn the business from the bottom up in order to contribute
and provide helpful insights based on your analysis. You will have a
steep learning curve, have excellent opportunities for career
development and be expected to take on significant responsibility from
day one.
Your responsibility will be the generation of analytical
reports, be an expert in the payments processing area, become a master
of our transaction system. Your analysis will be crucial for important
decisions and you will instantly be able to view and take action based
on your analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overviewing the number of chargebacks and fraud of the company portfolio:
- Extracting data from various system
- Creating and maintaining recurring reports
- Owning relevant KPI’s and securing their achievements
- Calculate success of the dispute process (chargebacks)
- Analyze transaction data to determine approval ratio per card brand, region, ISO and per acquirer;
- Analyze transaction data to determine fraud patterns and irregularities with processing credit cards
- Project trends in chargeback and fraud based on sales and chargeback ratios;
- Suggest amendments to existing rules for traffic routing and work on strategies per KPIs set for the industry;
- Report on a weekly basis the performance of each account with clear breakdown of the numbers per chargeback KPIs;
- Liaise with the Customer Support Team on trends of incoming consumer calls, complaints and requests for cancellations;
- Participate in ad-hoc projects;
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role with a financial services company and/or ecommerce will be considered strong advantage;
- Good analytical and problem solving skills;
- Advance Excel skills;
- SQL – intermediate level;
- Ability to explain complex things in an understandable way;
- Fluency in written and spoken business English;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Willing to innovate, learn and share knowledge;
Level of qualification:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business or related field;
- 1+ year of relevant experience in roles such as Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Data Analyst or similar.
