Learnlight is seeking a talented Business Analyst
to join our Team in Barcelona. The person in this role will work
directly with the Co-founder and COO to identify and drive fundamental
and strategic changes to the organizational architecture of the
business, the operational workflows that underpin our services, and the
systems we use to streamline and automate our processes. You will play a
strategic role in improving organizational capabilities, facilitating
company growth, customer loyalty, cost reduction, improved efficiency,
employee engagement and culture change through the application of
high-impact business process engineering initiatives. Projects will
focus both on the core business and the integration of acquisitions
across Europe.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes to improve overall workflow efficiencies and identify pain points, inefficiencies and non-compliance
- Examine
processes holistically to understand the impact of changing them on
people, strategy, systems and general business operations
- Identify and translate complex, multi-dimensional business processes into simplified, streamlined business process models
- Extract
large amounts of data from our data platforms and tools to run thorough
numerical analysis to identify changes and drivers that affect the
performance of the business
- Apply process improvement and
reengineering methodologies and principles to identify and plan
improvements (process and technology) including identifying the current
process, applying best practices, and creating performance measurements.
- Assist in the development, roll out an agreed suite of
policies, guidelines, processes, standards and a way of working which
will help deliver
- Preparation of business cases which define
potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits (via changes in
information management, practices, processes, or organisation change),
and associated business risks
- Communication of the Implementation plans to ensure standards are cascaded across the business
- Work with various business units to facilitate the design of cross functional business processes
- Definition and implementation of the reporting processes
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar analytical role
- Proficient in English (this will be the day to day working language);
- Strong Analytical mindset: You enjoy working with data and are
comfortable with math and statistical analysis, and are able to quickly
extract implications from data
- Strong Excel capabilities and comfortable running complex analysis and dealing with high amounts of data
- Organized and self-starter, with attention to detail and focused on results and productivity
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience in Analytics role would be a plus
- Ability to work well under time constraints and self-learning capabilities
Work Conditions and Physical Demands:
- May be required to work extended hours for special business needs
- May be required to travel at least 20% of time based on business needs;
Certifications: (Required/Desired)
- Business
process reengineering courses or Business process methodologies (i.e.
Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt)
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s
degree in a related field (Engineering or Business Operations)
required, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Master’s degree in MBA (desirable)
