We are currently looking for a motivated BackEnd Engineer to
join our Development Team in Barcelona Office, Poblenou District (few
blocks from the beach!).
You will be part of a SWAT team that ensures that our code is
high quality and enterprise level. We do SCRUM, you will be part of an
Agile Team, doing pair programming, code reviews and having fun
refactoring. Our stack is mainly PHP, we also do NodeJS in a service
oriented architecture.
We are looking for a passionate professional willing to get us
to the highest level of reliable performance, using whatever languages
and tools are the best for getting the job done. If you are a

Key responsibilities:
Own the back-end code for our applications (code quality, test coverage, performance)
Build efficient code with the highest levels of performance in terms of latency, scale, code
Visibility, monitoring and reporting
Collaborate in establishing and following processes within the team to ensure high quality code
Help diagnosing and solving issues found in production
Creating unit, regression and performance tests
Skills and Experience Required:
Good soft skills, team player (our team is amazing, believe us!)
Strong professional working experience
A degree in computer science or equivalent
Good level of English (Company will give you the option to join English Classes and improve it)
Experience and knowledge in OOP, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, Clean Code and Refactoring.
Knowledge of TDD, integration, functional, acceptance tests
Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL, noSQL, RabbitMQ, Redis
Proven
ability to come up to speed quickly with new skills-- come prepared to
give an example of a language, database or similar technology you were
able to rapidly adopt
Extra points for:
Experience with microservices or microliths
Experience with (micro)frameworks
Experience with other programming languages and paradigms
DevOps (docker, ansible, k8s)
