HiPeople is looking for its first backend developer to join our team in
Berlin. We are building a candidate qualification tool to make hiring
10x more efficient and free of bias. We currently have a first prototype
(built by ourselves:-)) live at 5 test customers and are looking for a
product-oriented backend developer to build our first product and help
us reinvent hiring.
Who we are looking for:
- You are an experienced developer (5+ years) with strong backend and relational database skills

You’re comfortable building our product version one (designing,
building, maintaining) and choosing the right stack (we are aiming for
JS-stack but open for your input;)) and tools for that job
- You have built a web based application from the ground up, brought it live and maintained it ensuring high availability
- You ensure code quality through automated testing at all levels
- You are product-focused, combining creativity with pragmatism and a will to get stuff done
- You believe in work-life balance as being essential for long-term happiness and productivity
- You are a fan of clear and honest communication and a high degree of ownership and accountability
