What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a Back-end Developer to join our engineering team led by experienced Engineers (coming from Google, HP, etc) to help build the next generation of home features.
● Design and implement a reliable platform that scales to millions of users worldwide
● Work under Agile SCRUM methodologies
● Produce clean and efficient code based on clear specifications for our Back-end
● Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the existing software
● Gather and evaluate user’s feedbacks
● Integration Simplr with leading external partners
● Write unit and end to end tests
● Participate in CI/CD process, code reviews and delivery and deployment processes
● Recommend and execute improvements
● Stay up-to-date with new technology trends
What Is Required
● 3+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer
● Problem solving-skills and the ability to ‘troubleshoot’ issues
● Experience with SQL and NonSql databases
● Knowledge of coding in Java
● Experience with Git SCM
● Good English knowledge is a strong plus
A Few Things That Will Differentiate You From The Rest
● Ability to learn new languages and technologies
● Excellent communication skills
● Understanding of Spring Integrations, Spring Batch and Spring Cloud
● Clean code sense
● BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
● Soft Skills: Empathy, Communication, Teamwork, Open-mindedness, Problem solving, Creativity, Time Management.
● HTML5 and Javascript (Typescript) other languages like Python, Groovy and Angular are a plus
