As part of our pack, you'll be crafting and perfecting scalable and maintainable code, while taking a “paw-some” role in defining new features. 📱 With your free-thinking and collaborative approach, you'll help make recommendations for future developments. 🚀 Plus, you'll be joining an outstanding team where free thinking and collaboration are not just encouraged, but expected!

Your day-to-day
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Identify and provide solutions for existing and upcoming products/features
- Code reviews
- Release and monitor our apps in the wild
- Coffee, tea and nice chats
Some tools we use
- Firebase
- Git, Bitbucket
- Postman
- Jenkins, Fastlane
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Android Developer (min. 3 years)
- Experience in several projects and competence in at least a couple of areas of the software engineering lifecycle
- Proficient in Android specifications such as Android Studio, Android SDK, Java and Kotlin, Dependency Injection (Dagger), Retrofit, Unit Testing, and App architecture (MVP, MVVM)
- Validated debugging and testing skills
- A real passion for quality and attention to detail
- Self-starter and detail-oriented. You can complete projects with minimal supervision
- Communication skills: as the mobile apps aggregate features and services from teams all across zooplus, collaboration and sharing is key
- Fluency in English is mandatory (corporate language)
